Robert Leeman Named Fellow of American Psychological Association

Congratulations to Robert Leeman, Ph.D., associate professor and the Mary F. Lane endowed professor in health education and behavior, for being named a fellow in the American Psychological Association.

Fellow status is an honor bestowed upon APA members who have shown evidence of unusual and outstanding contributions or performance in the field of psychology. Dr. Leeman is recognized for his contributions to psychopharmacology and substance misuse.

Leeman is the third college faculty member to earn this high achievement. Christopher Janelle, Ph.D., associate dean for academic and student affairs and professor in applied physiology and kinesiology, and Jalie Tucker, Ph.D., professor in health education and behavior, are APA fellows.

Within the College of Health & Human Performance, faculty hold 20 fellowships across a wide variety of disciplines including sports medicine, kinesiology and recreation, to name a few. Learn more about college honors and fellowships.
