HEB's Amy Mobley receives RIS Mid-Career Award

Amy R. Mobley — recipient of the Nutrition Education and Behavioral Science RIS Mid-Career Award

The American Society for Nutrition named Amy R. Mobley, Ph.D., associate professor and graduate coordinator in the Department of Health Education & Behavior, as the recipient of the Nutrition Education and Behavioral Science RIS Mid-Career Award supported by Abbott Nutrition. The award was announced and Dr. Mobley was recognized on June 9 in Baltimore at Nutrition 2019 hosted by the American Society for Nutrition.

Dr. Mobley is a nutrition educator and registered dietitian with expertise in community nutrition research and outreach specifically related to nutrition education and obesity prevention. Her research goal is to better understand the multiple influences on dietary behavior and to develop corresponding interventions to improve health, especially in underserved populations.
