HHP and Disney Partner for Online Degree Programs

In partnership with the Walt Disney World Company, the University of Florida’s College of Health & Human Performance now offers an expanded selection of online master’s degrees to Disney employees. Master’s degrees in Tourism and Recreation Management, Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and Health Education and Behavior will join the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management as online degrees eligible for 100 percent tuition coverage under Disney Aspire.

Disney Aspire, The Walt Disney Company’s education investment program, offers full coverage of tuition, textbook and application fees to more than 80,000 full-time and part-time hourly employees who have more than 90 days of service. Founded to improve the career development of Disney’s workforce, The Walt Disney Company partnered with UF Online to provide a flexible pathway to a UF degree.

If they are granted admission to UF, eligible Disney cast members could begin UF Online classes as early as August. Qualified students must meet graduate or undergraduate admission requirements and meet with a coach from Guild Education to review their academic background.

Through the program, Disney employees can also pursue masters or bachelors degrees from the UF College of Journalism and Communications and the Warrington College of Business.

Learn more by visiting the Disney Aspire website or UF Online.
