Integrative Strength and Conditioning Science

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE

The Certificate in Integrative Strength and Conditioning Science will provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills required of professionals involved in improving the physical performance of athletic and tactical populations.

The four courses included in the certificate program provide students the requisite knowledge and skills to pass industry leading professional certifications including, but not limited to, the following*:

  • NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
  • NSCA Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F)
  • NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES)
  • ISSN Certification in the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN)

*Registration and completion of these exams is not included in the courses that make up the certificate.

  • APK6167: Nutrition Aspects of Human Performance (3 credit hours)
  • APK6176: Strength & Conditioning (3 credit hours)
  • PET5936: Corrective Exercise (3 credit hours)
  • PET5936: Tactical Strength & Conditioning (3 credit hours)
