Student Eligibility Information
Eligibility:
- Each applicant must have at least a 3.0 to apply.
- Each applicant must be a third or fourth year undergraduate or a graduate student
- Students must be taking at least 3 independent study credits to be eligible for a scholarship.
- No academic disciplinary action while attending UF
- US Citizen
Submit all of the following:
- Scholarship application
- Scholarship essay (450-500 words)
- Unofficial academic transcript
- One Letter of Recommendation from a Faculty or Graduate Teaching Assistant
Essay: The purpose of the essay is to give your reasons for wanting to study abroad. In the essay, you should discuss (1) how you would benefit from the program; (2) how you would use this new knowledge in your future career; (3) understanding of anthropology, sociology, political science, political science, geography, historic preservation, public relations, journalism, or tourism theory as it applies to practice, (4) what you might bring to the project; (5) past work experience that benefits the project; (6) understanding of Turkey/Armenian history and how tourism is affected; (7) what role you see yourself taking in the project team. Your essay needs to be between 450-500 words.

NOTE: All required application materials must be submitted by the scholarship deadline. Incomplete or late applications are NOT accepted. All materials will be submitted in hard copy. A total of 5 copies of each package are required at submission.
