TRSM Undergraduate Programs

Sport Management
Combined Degree Programs

The combined Bachelor of Science/Master of Science allows qualified students to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management with 12 credit hours of graduate coursework counting toward both degrees. The two degrees may be earned with a minimum of 138 credit hours for the thesis option (instead of the 150 required if the degree were pursued separately) and 145 credit hours for the non-thesis option (instead of the 157 credit hours if the degrees were pursued separately). Therefore, both degrees can be attained within a five year period, rather than the usual six years.

Students should apply to the combined degree program before the completion of the first semester of their Junior year. Interested students should contact an academic advisor during their freshman or sophomore year to ensure their eligibility.
