MINI GRANTS

Mini-Grant Program

The Florida Traffic and Bicycle Safety Education Program provides funds annually, through the mini-grant program, to help school districts establish, maintain or enhance their traffic safety education programs. While we are committed to providing educational resources necessary to teach the traffic safety education program, we are equally committed to providing the funds necessary to implement and sustain programs throughout the state.

The mini-grants (up to $2,000) provide assistance to district supervisors to either purchase new or replace existing equipment such as bicycles, helmets, ropes, cones and other equipment, or purchase trailers to transport the equipment to schools. Any school district or agency interested in applying for a mini-grant should understand and be willing to meet the simple program criteria.
