RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

Living Well acts as a research laboratory to study the effect of exercise on health and aging. These are typically interdisciplinary research projects involving faculty and students from the College of Health and Human Performance, College of Medicine and other units on campus. Several multi-year and short-term studies currently are active. These include studies dealing with cardiovascular disease prevention, organ transplant recovery, strength training, physically and mentally challenged individuals, and equipment testing and validation for various manufacturers.

If you would like to use Living Well for one of your research projects, please contact Interim Director Danielle Bean, at djbean@hhp.ufl.edu. .
