CES Seminar Series
The Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology is hosting Dr. Michael Hogan Nov. 19, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Florida Gym room 235 as part of the CES Seminar Series. Hogan, a professor of medicine at the University of California-San Diego Department of Medicine, is presenting a seminar entitled "Oxygen Dependence of Skeletal Muscle Function: From Whole Body to Single Cell."

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation gives grant to two HHP professors
Dr. J.O. Spengler (TRSM) and Dr. Yong Jae Ko (TRSM) received a research grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s program, Active Living Research, to study policy issues relevant to the joint and shared use of sport facilities for the purpose of increasing opportunities for physical activity in underserved communities.
