Prior to graduation, all HEB majors are required to complete a 15-credit hour, full-time internship experience. This requirement is met during the semester of expected graduation.

These files are by no means representative of all possible internship sites, but they are a good starting point. Students may also submit other sites to be approved for internship placement as well.

ALL requests for internships at the Alachua County Health Department must be directed to Aniceta Smith. She is coordinating all intern activity at the health department. Be sure to include in your email to her which Department at the ACHD you are interested in, and she will forward your name to the internship supervisor.
