CHHP Alumni Hall of Fame Award
Each spring, HHP selects outstanding alumni to be recognized. To be eligible to receive this prestigious honor, alumni must have graduated from HHP at least 10 years prior to their nomination and have demonstrated significant contributions related to HHP’s mission and/or enhancement of quality of life for others. These contributions would typically be those deemed to be accomplishments “above and beyond” their employment responsibilities.
Criteria:
To be considered for this recognition the individual will:

Have received a degree from the College. |
2. |
Have been recognized for his/her contributions at the local, state, regional, national or international level(s). |
3. |
Be 10 years from the date of graduation. |
4. |
Posthumous awards will be considered, but will be limited to 1 in any given year. |
Selection Process:
1. |
The Dean shall appoint a committee that has representation from all departments of the College. In addition at least one College Alumni, Advisory Council and/or Retired Faculty member will be invited to serve on the committee. The Chair will be appointed by the Dean. |

Nominees received by the third week of December will be given full consideration. |
3. |
Any individual may nominate alumni for this award. |
4. |
Individuals making the nominations will provide comments supportive of the nomination at the spring awards ceremony. |
5. |
Individuals nominated will be notified of the nomination by mail and invited to submit any additional documentation for the committee. |
6. |
Supporting documentation includes such items as the letters of nomination, biographical sketches, or resumes. |
7. |
The committee will vote and make its recommendation to the Dean who will notify the honoree(s). |
