Billie Knapp (B.K.) Stevens Award
This award is named after the late B.K. Stevens, professor emeritus and a member of the original faculty when the College was established in 1946. B. K. was a faculty member in the Professional Curriculum until he retired in 1976. From the time of his retirement until his death, B.K. Stevens exemplified continued service and an active interest in the affairs of the College. He and his widow, Betty Stevens, made significant contributions to the College through their service and monetary donations. This honor is bestowed to individuals who have distinguished themselves by giving their time, effort or resources to enhance HHP and its programs.
Selection Process:

The Dean shall appoint a committee that has representation from all departments of the College. In addition at least one College Alumni and/or Advisory Council member will be invited to serve on the committee. The Chair will be appointed by the Dean. | ||||||||

Nominees received by the third week of December will be given full consideration. | ||||||||

Any individual may nominate individuals for this award. | ||||||||

The award recipient must attend the spring reception. |
