FACILITIES

Florida Gymnasium
Built in 1949, this 140,000 square foot facility houses faculty, departmental and dean offices, research laboratories, three full-length basketball courts, six 100-plus seat lecture halls, classrooms, reading room, and faculty and student locker rooms.

Florida Pool
The Florida Pool is an eight-lane, 50-yard outdoor facility that ranges in depth from 4.5 feet (1.4 meters) to 12.5 feet (3.8 meters). The pool is heated to 84 degrees during the winter months. Florida Pool is home to one of the largest academic diving programs in the nation. It also provides programming space for aquatic classes, recreational swimming, Living Well conditioning classes and sports clubs.

Living Well
Located at Yon Hall in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Living Well offers current and former UF faculty and staff a fully-equipped fitness center, including: strength training, free weights, Med-X and cardiovascular equipment.

Jacksonville Branch
Established in 2004, the Addictive and Health Behaviors Research Institute is located in Jacksonville, Fla.

Tallahassee Branch
The 21st Century Community Learning Center project has an additional office in Tallahassee.
