Biography:

DeEtta Rhodes has been at the University of Florida since 1990 and with the College of Health and Human Performance since 1997. She started in the academic advising office in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences and moved to the Dean's Office in 2003 when academic advising was centralized in the College. In 2007, academic advising was decentralized, and Rhodes remained in the Dean's Office as program assistant to the associate dean for academic affairs. Her responsibilities include the following: coordinating the associate dean's calendar; assisting the associate dean with special projects; assisting the associate dean with coordinating programs for undergraduate and graduate students; organizing student orientations and commencement activities; assisting faculty with study abroad course development and recruitment. Rhodes has an associate of arts degree from Santa Fe Community College, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management.
