*All pdf forms should be typed directly onto and then printed.

  1. Begin your search with the APK approved internship sites.
  2. Contact a site that interests you from the list provided or contact one you find on your own.
    1. Find out if they are offering internships during the specific semester that you would like to intern.
    2. Ask if they require an interview or any other materials, i.e. application, transcripts, resume, letters of recommendation, etc.
    3. Make a note of these requirements and the name and address for submission.
    4. If you would like to intern with an organization, company, hospital, or other entity not on the list of Approved Internship Sites, you can have the site approved.
      1. Ask the site to fill out (type) and submit a Site Approval Form (pdf). A one page description of intern duties must accompany the site approval form for processing. (For more information on intern duties, review the Internships page.)
  3. Secure confirmation from the site. (Students may only accept one internship site position at a time)
  4. Start Packet Submission process for confirmed site.
