The Motor Behavior Laboratory investigates a variety of movement issues, specifically rehabilitation techniques for individuals who have had a stroke. Typically, post stroke patients must overcome an impaired arm, hand or wrist while trying to execute movements. Researchers have developed ways of helping patients regain some or complete usage of their impaired limb. Overcoming motor disabilities allows these individuals to perform daily activities such as holding a glass of juice, chopping vegetables or even swinging a golf club.
